And 1 Officials  began primarily to help produce better officials and officiating by way of instruction, encouragement, knowledge and camps. Our main focus is to take officiating to its highest level.

We believe that all officials have the responsibility to be Certified, Insured, Professional, Accountable, Approachable, Organized and Timely. We recruit officials and promote the attendance to basketball camps and clinics to encourage continuing education and to improve individual skills.

Our officials know and understand the rules of the game, and utilize proper officiating mechanics whether it be youth recreation leagues, adult leagues, high school tournaments or NBA Pro AM leagues.

Our officials know how to deal effectively with direct verbal challenges from players, coaches, and heckling fans.  We don't take these challenges personally, moreover, we respond to them professionally.

Our officials are randomly evaluated as per the IBOA officiating standards, and are expected to perform at the highest level.

We recruit experienced officials who have been around for many years, as well as assist those interested in becoming certified, and looking to join a professional organization to enhance the success and professionalism of the game of basketball
